About me

My professional background is in the design, development, and fabrication of interactive science museum exhibits, operating both as the in-house developer for museums, and as an independent contractor.

What is Planar Flow?

Planar Flow can be thought of as a construction technique.
It is an abbreviation of:

Planar-stacked, laser-cut, solvent-welded, acrylic construction work-Flow

Flat acrylic sheets are laser cut into custom 2D shapes that are stacked together, then liquid solvent is applied between the layers, which rapidly fuse, creating a reliably gas-tight joint that is nearly as strong as the cast material itself.
